Retreat Recap: The Art of Intentional Living
On a rainy winter's day, we made our way to the picturesque Barfold Estate for our 2024 all-day retreat,
The Art of Intentional Living.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the warmth of the fire in Suite One, setting the stage for a day of creativity, connection and rejuvenation.
The creative segment of the workshop involved table setting. Using unexpected items, we demonstrated how to make the table glow from within and create foam-free installations. The guests eagerly learned how to style and layer the table, creating a perfect backdrop for engaging conversation and a delightful wine tasting session hosted by Sandra from Barfold Estate.
Laughter filled the room during our bath bomb-making activity. Each guest selected their own scent, resulting in a room filled with delightful fragrances. The joy of creating something personal and unique was evident in everyone's smiles.
The final session took us back to Suite One for an in-depth exploration of colour. We discussed how to harness the colour wheel to enhance our homes and hosting experiences. Guests learned to style the bedroom with two distinct looks from Abode Living & Innate Collection. Creating their own bedroom styling schemes, equipping them to elevate their personal spaces.
Throughout the workshop, the atmosphere was calm and rejuvenating with guests feeling inspired, and ready to elevate their next dinner party or home project.
Bringing together like-minded people for a day dedicated to their well-being and creativity was a joy.
I’m deeply thankful to our Sponsors and Collaborators for adding so much enthusiasm into our workshop. — Robert Gordon, Abode Living, Innate Collection, In Good Company, Sisko Chocolates, Monsieur Pierre, Jodie Parton Kinesiology, Sea & Paper
Most Importantly, thank you to all our wonderful guests who attended. Your presence made the day incredibly special and I look forward to many more workshops where we can continue to learn, grow and create together.
With love,
